The Sandles are Henry Marsh and Simon Byrne.

Henry and Simon started out together in the mid 60’s in a band that drew its inspiration from the music of The Beatles and The Beach Boys. They have since had musical success both together and individually throughout their long association.
Looking for a theme to base a new project on, Henry and Simon came up with the idea of looking at the many iconic songs of the 60’s, favorite songs they used to play when they were finding their way as a cover band, songs of the many bands they supported at gigs all over the UK before they became headliners in their own right. The new songs would be heavily influenced by these past experiences and draw on the sounds and techniques they’ve acquired over many years of writing and singing together. Having decided this they realized that they would need a name for the project.
They chose ‘The Sandles’.

All songs are original, written, played and sung by Henry Marsh and Simon Byrne, who hope that you will get as much pleasure from listening to these songs as they did from writing and recording them.
